Enum Class Button.Style

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<Button.Style>
limn.components.Button.Style
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<Button.Style>, Constable
Enclosing class:
Button

public static enum Button.Style extends Enum<Button.Style>
How much a button asks to be pressed, of the three looks a row of buttons is drawn in. The box is the same at every style: padding, height, radius and focus ring are the step's, so a TERTIARY button lines up with the others and keeps a full target.

A 1.x minor release may add constants to this enum: a switch over it needs a default branch.

  • Enum Constant Details

    • PRIMARY

      public static final Button.Style PRIMARY
      The one action a view or a dialog is for: filled in the palette's accent.
    • SECONDARY

      public static final Button.Style SECONDARY
      Any other action beside it: the surface's own fill, an outline, the text colour.
    • TERTIARY

      public static final Button.Style TERTIARY
      A quiet action that should not compete (a tool bar's, a "Cancel" beside a "Delete"): no fill and no border at rest, the caption in colour, and a tint of it under the pointer.
