Enum Class ShaderType

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<ShaderType>
limn.render3d.shader.ShaderType
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<ShaderType>, Constable

public enum ShaderType extends Enum<ShaderType>
The value types the neutral shader IR works with: the GLSL scalar/vector types plus sampler2D. Backends map these onto their own type systems; the glsl name is what GlslCodegen emits.

  • Field Details

    • glsl

      public final String glsl
      The GLSL type keyword.
    • components

      public final int components
      Scalar component count (0 for opaque types like samplers).
  • Method Details

    • values

      public static ShaderType[] values()
      Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
      Returns:
      an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared
    • valueOf

      public static ShaderType valueOf(String name)
      Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this class. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
    • ofComponents

      public static ShaderType ofComponents(int n)
      The float/vector type with n components (1→float … 4→vec4).
